Our soft winter wheat berries ( kernels) are Ontario grown. They may be the white or the red variety. They can be ground to flour in a home mill, or flaked in a home flake machine. They can also be cooked whole and used as a side dish or pilaf, or to make satisfying soups. A great choice for sprouting.
